Use SpamFoo Help With AI Assistants
SpamFoo Help has a public MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard way for an AI assistant to use outside tools. With this server, an assistant can search these help pages and read them, so its answers about SpamFoo come from the current help instead of memory.
- The server is read-only. It cannot change anything.
- It needs no sign-in or API key.
- It only returns help content. It never has access to your mail server or your SpamFoo data.
- Requests are limited per IP address, so a script that sends a burst of requests may be told to slow down.
Server Address
The server uses streamable HTTP at this address:
https://help.spamfoo.com/mcp
Add the Server to Your Assistant
Claude
Add a custom connector in Claude's connector settings and enter the server address above. Leave any sign-in fields empty.
Claude Code
Run this command in a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http spamfoo-help https://help.spamfoo.com/mcp
Other MCP Clients
Most MCP clients that support remote servers accept the address above. Many read a JSON configuration like this one. The file name and the exact keys differ between clients, so check your client's documentation.

The same tools are also available over plain HTTP. See the OpenAPI description.
Markdown Pages
If you would rather give an assistant a page directly, every help page is also available as Markdown. Add .md to the page address, or use /index.md for the home page. For example, https://help.spamfoo.com/guides/install.md is the Markdown version of the install guide.
- llms.txt lists every page with a one-sentence summary.
- llms-full.txt has the Markdown of every page in one file.
